Tom is a native of Belton, Texas. He has practiced law in Temple since 1976 when he joined the firm of Bowmer, Courtney, Burleson, Pemberton & Normand. When that firm merged with Naman, Howell, Smith and Lee, Tom remained in the Temple office. In 2012, he opened his own office in Temple. From 2014-2020, Tom practiced with Normand Bozeman Zanowiak, PLLC. He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the fields of estate planning and probate law.
Tom is a graduate of the University of Texas and Baylor Law School, where he was the editor of the Baylor Law Review. He also holds a Master of Law in Taxation from George Washington University and is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American College of Trust and Estate Council.
